Integration
My goal to integrate all my gadgets(blackberry, iTouch, Computers) with Linkedin, Facebook, and Google is almost complete. Starting to add MS-Mesh and MS-Skydrive.

Well, today was brought in with little (if any) fanfare. Just a quiet morning and expectations to watch the Winter Classic. Everything went pretty much as planned.
Now that Minorchord has an official CMS web page, blog, and forum… it now needs a purpose or two. There are a couple idea floating around, but for the near term it will suffice as a personal site as a development platform explore a few inter-linked technology trials.
I really wish I could link this blog to FB. As what is FB really… but an interlinked blog for those who can not set up their own. Oh yea, and a way to get advertising dollars.

The last two weeks of the year have been wonderful from a technology perspective. Simply put, everything is working… and working together! From the perspective of hardware and software… PS3, NAS, Windows Backup Server,Linux Firewall/UTM, multiple mobile phones, networked printes, scanner, iTouch devices, monitors, itunes server, upnp server, ftp server, web servers (external and internal), MySQL database servers (internal and external), LDAP server, external web pipe (including DNS resolver), CMS , Blog, Forums, FB, Twitter, Linkedin, etc. I think that I can safely say that I have enough things linked together to actually run a small company!
On top of that I have also been able to do some more improvements on my 360-degree hockey evaluation tools and further organization of all the hockey coaching collateral!
Next steps… figure out how to elegantly create a web application to link database servers to a web interface. Until then, I’ll just stick with this other easy stuff.

Hello world!
The new blog… what do you think?
Hockey starts back up today. We have had a couple days off the ice and are anxious to get back!
Turning on this blog software for the first time.. there are sooo many options. I know that I will need to test this SW out for awhile!
Here is my first attempt at posting a link.
The day before Christmas…
The holiday season is upon us. The weather in our area today is a bit wet. See the new pictures added to the gallery.
Yesterday was centered around family visits and related activity. We do not have any hockey until sometime next week.
I still have not figured out how to link the updates in this web site to face book directly. There must be a plugin somewhere!

Holiday’s are here!
The holiday season is upon us… and after today… we will have a break in the hockey schedule for at least 1 week!
The morning has been spent on work, conference calls for work (although it is my “time off”), and the minor little updates to this web site. Note to self… somehow, I need more of a “Blog” type entry system. Currently I am contemplating just using the facebook account for blog related items. Better would be to link the facebook/twitter/blog into a single online “diary”.
